Primary Purpose
Provide targeted small-group reading intervention for elementary students based on assessment data.
Deliver structured dyslexia instruction and support students in developing foundational literacy skills.
Qualifications
Valid Texas teaching certificate Elementary or related field
Training in a dyslexia intervention program or willingness to obtain training
Knowledge of characteristics and instructional needs of students with dyslexia
Understanding of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills TEKS and ability to plan targeted intervention lessons
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
Provide small-group reading intervention lessons based on student assessment data

Monitor student progress and maintain documentation
Plan intervention lessons aligned to TEKS and student needs
Communicate and collaborate with classroom teachers regarding student progress and instructional supports
