Carle Health is seeking additional BE/BC Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists to join our established team at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.
Opportunity Details
Join an established team of 4 MFM Specialists, 5 MFM APPs, 10 Obstetricians/Gynecologists, 6 Neonatologists, 2 Gynecologic Oncologists, 2 Pediatric Surgeons, a Geneticist with dedicated MFM genetic counseling, a Dietitian, and highly skilled subspecialty midlevel staff
Four MFM APP's provide prenatal care, inpatient support, routine diabetes management and care coordination
Pediatric specialties available onsite include Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Neurology, Developmental-Behavioral, Pulmonology, Sleep and Genetics; additional consultation services available for Pediatric Infectious Disease and Hematology/Oncology
Practice the full range of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, including prenatal diagnosis, complex obstetric management, genetic and perinatal consultation
Consult-based practice, no requirement for deliveries
Large referral base of 50 regional referring OB-GYN physicians
In-house coverage for deliveries by OB/GYN Hospitalist, NICU, and Anesthesia
Dedicated neonatal and perinatal air and ground transport services
In- house genetic counselor
90% office practice within Carle Foundation Hospital campus, in-patient responsibilities while on call
Carle Foundation Hospital is a 509-bed, Magnet®designated Level I Trauma Center with Level III Perinatal services
Opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, the nation’s first medical school focused at the intersection of healthcare and engineering
Opportunity to teach residents through our ACGME-accredited OBGYN Residency at Carle Foundation Hospital

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $550,000 - $665,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
