What You'll Do
As a School-Based Therapist, you'll provide individual, family, and group counseling services to students ages 5–19 experiencing challenges such as:
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Trauma
  • Behavioral concerns
  • Grief and loss
  • Family conflict
  • Self-esteem
  • School adjustment
  • Emotional regulation
Responsibilities include:
  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments
  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic services
  • Collaborate with families, school personnel, and community providers
  • Maintain clinical documentation
  • Participate in team meetings and quality improvement activities
Qualifications
  • Eligible to register as a Florida Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, Registered Clinical Social Work Intern, or Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern within six (3) months of hire and Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field
  • Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
