One Surgical Specialists in Paramus, NJ is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant / Clinical Scribe to join their growing team. Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient examinations and procedures
• Accurately document patient encounters, histories, and physician notes in real time as a clinical scribe
• Prepare and room patients, recording vital signs and chief complaints
• Maintain and update electronic health records (EHR) with precision and timeliness
• Coordinate pre- and post-operative patient instructions and follow-up care
• Manage exam room setup, sterilization, and medical supply inventory
• Support front and back office operations as needed to ensure seamless patient flow

Requirements:

• Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) preferred or equivalent clinical experience
• Prior experience as a clinical scribe or strong medical documentation skills
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and medical terminology
• Experience in a surgical or specialty medical practice is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail and strong written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced clinical setting
