Our history:
Hawaiian Building Maintenance was founded in 1957 in Honolulu as a janitorial services company. As Hawai’i’s commercial landscape evolved, so did we.
Over the decades, HBM expanded its capabilities to meet the growing needs of property owners and managers — moving from single-service delivery to integrated building support across multiple disciplines. Today, HBM operates as a full-service asset services partner, supporting performance, reliability, and long-term value across the Hawaiian Islands.

While our services have grown, our commitment to dependable service, local relationships, and accountable execution has remained constant for more than 60 years.

We currently perform janitorial building services, mechanical engineering, HVAC and maintenance services for numerous commercial, retail and residential properties on Kaua'i, O'ahu, Maui and Hawai'i island. We also offer restoration services for various issues, including water damage, fire damage, and mold remediation on Oahu. Part-time Custodial Night Porter: Compensation range:  $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Custodian, Floater, or Mobile Workforce Technician 1: Compensation range:  $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Custodian (Lead, Supervisor, Mobile Workforce Elite): Compensation range: $17.50 - $25.00 per hour

Grounds Maintenance: Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Pool Attendant: Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Maintenance Apprentice: Compensation range: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour

Maintenance Technician: Compensation: $24.50

Maintenance Floater: Compensation range: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
