Joint Facilities Analyst
As a Joint Facilities Analyst, youll research utility infrastructure, determine utility ownership, administer Pole Attachment and Joint Use Agreements, and coordinate with utility partners to support the expansion of Metronets fiber network. This role combines research, regulatory compliance, agreement administration, and cross-functional collaboration to identify and resolve issues before engineering, permitting, and construction begin, helping keep projects on schedule.
This team serves as a critical link between utility companies and Metronets Engineering, Legal, Permitting, and Construction teams, ensuring infrastructure issues are resolved before projects move into the field.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Associate's degree preferred
Experience in one or more of the following industries or functional areas is preferred:
Telecommunications
Electric Utility
Joint Use
Pole Attachments
Utility Engineering
Utility Coordination
Utility Permitting
Utility Records
Infrastructure Planning
Working knowledge of NESC, FCC regulations, utility attachment standards, or other utility/telecommunications regulations preferred.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Microsoft Excel, specifically Pivot Tables and other analytical tools.
Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret technical documentation, agreements, and utility records.
Ability to manage multiple projects independently while exercising sound judgment and attention to detail.
Ability to research unfamiliar issues, draw logical conclusions, and make sound recommendations with minimal supervision.
Strong Written & Verbal Communication Skills
Strong Organizational and Prioritization Skills
Detail Oriented
Willingness to work as a team and independently.
