What You’ll Do

  • Run clean, reliable welds (starting with MIG/stick in flat and horizontal).
  • Assist with setup of welding machines, jigs, fixtures, and fabrication tools.
  • Perform layout, fit-up, and tack operations from basic drawings and weld symbols.
  • Prep and align pipe, tube, and structural materials; observe stainless procedures.
  • Conduct visual inspections; identify and help prevent common weld defects.
  • Keep an OSHA- and 5S-aligned, safe, and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with fabricators, machinists, engineers, and project stakeholders.
  • Advance to vertical/overhead positions, TIG, stainless, and pressure tasks as skills progress.

What You Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Graduation from a recognized welding program or apprenticeship.
  • Familiarity with welding tools, processes, and safety protocols.
  • Proven capability in flat and horizontal welding.
  • Ability to interpret basic shop schematics.
  • Motivation to develop advanced fabrication capabilities.

Pay & Incentives

Hourly compensation is expected to range from $27.00 to $55.00, commensurate with education and years of experience. This role is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan and long term incentive plan.
