Journeyman Carpenter

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality carpentry work across various projects, ensuring precision, safety, and efficiency. As a Journeyman Carpenter, you will interpret technical drawings, utilize a wide range of hand and power tools, and collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional craftsmanship. Duties

• Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project requirements.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing, siding, cabinetry, doors, fixtures, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools.
• Perform trim carpentry tasks including molding, baseboards, window casings, and finish carpentry details with precision.
• Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, roofing, and metal stud framing as needed for various projects.
• Conduct restoration tasks such as water damage remediation, plastering, stucco application, siding replacement, and mold remediation.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards including power tool safety protocols and proper handling of equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to interpret construction plans accurately and meet project deadlines efficiently.
