HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:Provides specialized technical services for construction, operation and maintenance of the utility's electrical distribution system. Work on energized 5 KV, 15 KV, and 34.5 KV overhead and underground distribution lines. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:A High school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary specialized training of not less than two years; specialized courses to meet this requirement include: electricity or electronics and lineman's training courses. Must have a minimum of four years of progressively more responsible experience in work closely related to the work of this position. Previous 15 KV gloving experience. A valid Class A Commercial Drivers' license (CDL). Must hold a Journeyman Lineman Card or equivalent Journeyman experience. OUR WORKING ENVIRONMENT:Indoor and outdoor working environment. Outdoor environment included being subjected to hazards from working in an environment of extreme weather conditions. Individual to work forty (40) hours a week, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Perform maintenance scheduled and unscheduled overtime (must be available).
