Journeyman Electrician - Consulting Technician

Location: Moscow, ID (Serving Idaho & Washington - Must Hold ID & WA Licenses)

This is not a typical electrician position. Our Journeyman Electrician - Consulting Technician combines technical expertise with customer interaction and pricing responsibility. You will diagnose issues, prepare pricing using our digital price book (iPad-based), present options to homeowners, and execute the work, while ensuring hours align with quoted expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical issues in residential and local commercial settings
• Prepare estimates using the company price book
• Present options clearly and professionally to customers
• Perform electrical installations and service work
• Ensure jobs meet quoted labor expectations
• Maintain clean, professional job sites
• Collect payment upon completion
• Order materials for each job
• Represent Cheetah Electric with professionalism and integrity
• Responsible for delivering a 5 star experience to all customers

Qualifications

• Active Journeyman Electrician License (Idaho)
• Active Washington Electrical License (01 preferred; 02 acceptable if pursuing 01)
• Valid driver's license
• Must pass a background check upon a conditional job offer (role involves working inside customers' homes)
• Fluent English communication skills
• Ability to live and work locally (not remote)
• Professional, reliable, dependable lifestyle
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Prior service-based electrical experience
• Comfort with sales or commission environments

Pay & Benefits

• Full-time, W-2 Employment
• Hourly Base Pay: $35 to $40 per hour (based on experience)
• Estimated Annual Base Pay: $67,000-$76,000 (base only)
• Additional Earnings: Commission is available in addition to base pay, tied to performance and profitability
