What You’ll Do :

We are seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians and Foremen to work on

commercial and utility-scale electrical projects. As a Journeyman, you will be

responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems while

ensuring compliance with all safety and industry regulations. As a Foreman, you will

take on a leadership role, managing field crews, coordinating with project managers,

and ensuring job site efficiency.

Journeyman Electrician Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, wiring, conduit, panels,

and equipment in commercial and utility applications. Including Utilities

Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and project specifications to

ensure accurate installations.

Perform bending, cutting, threading, and installation of conduit (EMT, Rigid, PVC,

etc.).

Terminate wires and ensure proper connections for lighting, power distribution,

and control systems.

Test electrical systems using appropriate tools to ensure functionality and

safety.

Work independently or as part of a team, ensuring projects stay on schedule.

Maintain compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code), OSHA, and company

safety regulations.

Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions.

Communicate effectively with project managers, foremen, and other team

members.

Foreman Responsibilities (In Addition to Journeyman Duties):

Lead and supervise a team of electricians on commercial and utility-scale

projects.

Plan, coordinate, and delegate daily tasks to ensure job site productivity and

efficiency.

Monitor and enforce job site safety protocols, ensuring compliance with OSHA

and company standards.

Work closely with project managers, general contractors, and inspectors to

ensure project requirements are met.

Order and manage materials, tools, and equipment needed for the project.

Keep detailed records of work progress, material usage, and workforce

allocation.

Train and mentor apprentices and junior electricians to help develop the next

generation of skilled workers.

Proactively identify and solve onsite challenges, making real-time adjustments

as needed.

What We’re Looking For -

Experience & Education:

Journeyman Electrician License (or ability to obtain reciprocity in Utah).

5+ years of electrical experience, with commercial and/or utility experience

preferred.

Knowledge of NEC, electrical codes, and safety regulations.

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.

Experience with conduit bending, wire pulling, terminations, and panel wiring.

For Foreman roles: 2+ years of leadership experience in electrical construction.

Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple

tasks and deadlines.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Schedule: Mon-Thu 10 hour shifts (3 day weekends every weekend)
