Job Description
Electrical/Maintenance Technician
Area: Lake Odessa, MI (On-Site)
Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM)
Job Summary:
- Perform preventative maintenance and complex troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical equipment without direct supervision
- Read and interpret mechanical/electrical schematics, blueprints, P&IDs, single-lines, and wiring diagrams
- Troubleshoot and repair PLCs and ladder logic, preferably Allen-Bradley
- Troubleshoot 480 VAC 3-phase motor controls, 120 VAC, and 24VDC control circuits
- Operate and use oscilloscope, VOM, and other test/calibration equipment to diagnose industrial control devices
- Locate sources of problems through observation, precision measuring, and testing instruments
- Certify in and follow LOTO procedures; maintain a strong personal safety philosophy
- Complete work order documentation, closeout activities, and daily pass-down communication
