Job Information:
Composite Blade Wind Technician. 10 temporary/full-time positions with Pronto Solutions, Inc. - CO from 10/1/2025 - 12/14/2025.
Technicians to inspect, diagnose, adjust, or repair wind turbines on private client properties. Perform maintenance on wind turbine
equipment including resolving electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic malfunctions. Technicians will perform a variety of duties as
classified in OES Code 49-9081.00, to include ensuring all wind turbine equipment is calibrated within tolerance; climbing wind
turbine towers to inspect, maintain, or repair equipment; and assisting in assembly of individual wind generators or construction
of wind farms. Clean, sharpen, and lubricate tools and power equipment, such as grinders, sanders, Dremel. Maintain clean and
orderly work area, to include proper handling, storage of composite materials such as fiberglass, epoxy resins, fillers and paints.
Must follow all safety regulations and Pronto Solutions, Inc. Safety guidelines, including but not limited to employer-provided
personal protective equipment and adherence to daily safety plans.
Must lift/carry 75 lbs., when necessary and frequently kneel, stoop, twist and bend. Saturday and Sunday work required, when
necessary. Employer-paid drug test required of foreign and domestic workers prior to commencing work. Post-hire background
check required of foreign and domestic workers. Must be willing to climb a 200-300 foot (60-120m) ladder on frequent basis and
have no fear of heights.
Requires minimum of twelve months of wind turbine service experience.
Employer pays in advance or reimburses workers in the first workweek for all government-mandated and visa-related fees
(excluding passport fees). For non-local workers (i.e., residing outside normal commuting distance), employer reimburses inbound
travel costs at the 50% point in the contract (unless paid in advance). Inbound travel includes transportation costs from worker's
permanent residence or place of recruitment, a daily meal subsistence (based on rates required by law, currently $16.28 per day
minimum or $68.00 per day maximum for workers with acceptable receipts), and reasonable lodging costs, if applicable. Travel
reimbursements based on least-cost common carrier rate. Employer provides or pays outbound travel costs upon completion of
the contract period or early dismissal, except where the worker has subsequent employment.
Employer guarantees to offer hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 6-week period of the total contract
period, beginning with the worker's first workday and ending on the contract end date or any extension thereof. Employer may
count all hours worked, as well as any hours offered within the standard work schedule that a worker chooses to not work, up to
the maximum number of daily hours on the job order.
Workers who voluntarily abandon employment are not entitled to payment for outbound travel costs or the full three-fourths period
guarantee described above.
Employer provides without charge all tools, supplies and equipment (incl. uniforms, if applicable) necessary to perform duties
assigned. Employer provides $150.00 per-diem lodging & meal stipend to all eligible workers in the position. Workers make own
lodging arrangements at local hotels.
JOB LOCATION:
22085 County Road 3P Limon, CO 80828 and multiple worksites within Adams, Arapahoe, Cheyenne, Crowley, Elbert, El Paso,
Kit Carson, Lincoln, Morgan and Washington counties.
Employer provides inc dental transport between job sites. Employer offers free daily transportation to/from worksite from
designated pick-up location. Use of transportation is voluntary.
WAGE INFORMATION:
Wage rate is no less than $33.41 per Hour. Overtime hours vary at: $50.12 per Hour.
Raises and/or bonuses may be offered at employer's discretion, based on individual factors such as performance, skill, and tenure.
A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. The payroll period is bi-weekly. Workers are paid by check on Friday. The
standard work schedule is from 7:00 AM until 5:15 PM, Monday through Friday.
Employer will offer 50 hours per week. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours, depending on weather, business
needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
Employer makes all payroll deductions required by law. Employer does not envision other workforce-wide payroll deductions.
