We are a small but rapidly growing commercial electrical company looking for an experienced Journeyman Electrician who takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and customer service. This position is ideal for a self-motivated professional who can work independently, troubleshoot complex electrical issues, and represent our company with professionalism at customer sites.
Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems efficiently and accurately.
• Assess jobsite conditions and determine safe, effective solutions.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes and safety standards.
• Communicate clearly with customers, explaining issues and solutions in a professional manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
• Current Journeyman Electrician license (or equivalent experience as required by state regulations).
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Experience in commercial electrical installations, service, and maintenance.
• Ability to assess situations, think critically, and solve problems independently.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to OSHA and company safety procedures.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work from ladders, lifts, and in various jobsite environments.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
