This is a great opportunity for experienced electricians looking for steady work through 2028, with the potential to transition into a full-time position for electricians who consistently meet production and safety standards.
What You Can Expect
Start Date: September 28, 2026
Location: Reno, NV
Project Duration: Through 2028
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:00 AM–2:30 PM; Saturday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Per Diem: $200/day for eligible travelers living more than 60 miles from the jobsite
Overtime: Available as required
Potential Full-Time Conversion: Opportunity to transition to full-time based on production and performance
OSHA-10: X3 will provide training if you don't currently have the certification
What You'll Be Doing:
You'll be working on electrical construction and installation, including:
Installing, measuring, cutting, bending, threading, and assembling electrical conduit
Installing cable, duct banks, controls, and distribution equipment
Making electrical terminations and connections
Installing and securing electrical components and equipment
Welding electrical supports
Testing and starting up electrical systems
Verifying circuit continuity and component compatibility
Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, sketches, and plans
Troubleshooting electrical systems and determining the appropriate tools and work procedures
Following NEC, OSHA, and jobsite safety requirements

What We're Looking For
We're looking for electricians who can work independently, safely, and efficiently in a construction environment.
Required:
6+ years of electrical construction experience commercial/industrial setting (heavily required)
Strong knowledge of electrical installation and construction practices
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints
Experience with conduit installation, terminations, controls, and distribution equipment
Knowledge of NEC and OSHA safety standards
Ability to troubleshoot and solve electrical issues
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the workday
Comfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and other approved platforms
Willingness to work overtime and occasional off-hour shifts when needed
Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
