Job Description

We are seeking skilled, reliable, and adaptable Journeyman Electricians to join our team for multiple ongoing residential and commercial construction projects throughout North Jersey and the Rockland County area.

The ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in residential electrical systems and code compliance, with the immediate capability to step onto ongoing builds and hit the ground running. Because we manage a diverse portfolio of active sites, commercial experience is a major plus, allowing top performers the flexibility to move dynamically between different project types and locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Residential Installations: Independently handle the wiring, rough-ins, finish work, and troubleshooting for high-end residential projects, multi-family units, or new residential builds.
• Blueprint & Layout Execution: Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and redlined layouts to execute installations accurately and up to code.
• System Diagnostics & Repair: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex electrical issues in structural wiring, panels, lighting control systems, and circuitry.
• Commercial Cross-Over (As Needed): Utilize commercial skillsets—such as bending and running rigid conduit, pulling MC cabling, and setting up commercial branch circuits—to support commercial fit-outs and site work across different project locations.
• Safety & Code Compliance: Strictly adhere to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA safety standards on all active jobsites.
• Team Collaboration: Work efficiently alongside other field electricians, apprentices, and project managers to meet tight project milestones.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 4–5+ years of hands-on electrical experience, with a proven track record at the Journeyman level.
• Licensing: Valid Journeyman card, state electrical license, or equivalent proof of experience is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in residential wiring, panel upgrades, and device installations. Strong proficiency in conduit bending (EMT/Rigid) and commercial wiring methods is highly preferred.
• Tools & Equipment: Possess a complete set of hand tools and electrical testing equipment required for the trade. Ability to operate scissor lifts or work at heights is a plus.
• Reliability: Valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and dependable transportation to travel between multiple job sites in North Jersey and Rockland.
• Professionalism: Strong communication and customer-facing skills when working on active residential properties.
