Responsibilities:<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/p>


<\/span><\/span><\/div>
  • Apply comprehensive knowledge of electrical tasks in commercial, industrial, or residential installations.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Lay out, assemble, install, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices, and related equipment.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Perform wire terminations.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems on various job sites.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Demonstrate knowledge of electrical materials and tools.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Analyze, interpret, and understand blueprints, drawings, and work orders.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Mentor apprentices and helpers; monitor work progress.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Accurately code timecards and complete time and material sheets.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Collaborate with electricians and other tradespeople.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Maintain materials, tools, and equipment in an orderly and safe manner.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Communicate professionally with employees, management, and customers.<\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.<\/span><\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>
    • Journeyperson certificate or 7 years equivalent work experience.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record. 
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Work independently with minimal supervision.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Supervise assigned crew to ensure project completion with accuracy and thoroughness.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Knowledge of the latest National Electric Code (NEC) and NFPA70E.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Proficient in testing electrical systems or circuit continuity using devices like ohmmeters, voltmeters, or meggers.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controls (PLCs) is advantageous.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Correctly identify wire colors, including shades and brightness, to splice, join, and connect wires to fixtures and components.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Perform physically demanding tasks such as digging trenches, laying conduit, or moving/lifting heavy objects using hand tools or power equipment.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Operate two -handed tools/equipment like cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, jack hammers, etc.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Operate and work from mechanical hydraulic lifts (electric or gas powered) as needed.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Drive company trucks as required.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Safely operate equipment (e.g., trenchers and backhoes) as needed.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Follow instructions diligently.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Uphold company values and maintain high professional and ethical standards.<\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
    • Knowledge of Trimble is a plus.<\/span>
