Immediate need for qualified Industrial Journeyman Electricians in Orange, TX working 7/12's with Competitive Pay! Must Meet the TDLR Requirements of a Journeyman Electrician and hold an active TDLR license. Must Have Demonstrated Experience in the following Areas:Experience reading and interpreting electrical drawings, technical diagrams, and blueprintsTroubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devicesInspecting transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical wiring, conduit, equipment, fixtures, and terminatingWorking on underground cableTesting electrical components for continuity and proper voltage readingsSetting up and maintaining temporary power systemsInstalling and maintaining grounding systems for equipment and structuresPerforming preventative and general maintenance on electrical systemsFollowing National Electrical Code and state regulationsEnsure compliance with OSHA and other applicable standardsMust possess excellent critical thinking and problem solving skillsKnowledge of industry safety procedures, legal regulations, and guidelinesMust maintain current electrician's license or identification card to meet state regulationsMust Be Able to Meet the Following Physical Requirements - As Required:Large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting, and lifting. Use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull objects, materials, controls, and tools.Pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50lbs. Work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and may occasionally work off of platforms/scaffolding using the appropriate fall protection requirements. Work in all weather conditions while wearing appropriate PPE.
