Job Description

NAOVI is seeking a Journeyman Graphic Designer to assist the government with the following task:

Primary responsibilities:

  • Develop graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products.
  • Utilizes request management tools to provide swift, high quality customer support for communication requests
  • Coordinates with UI/UX designer in Knowledge Management, to ensure graphics products provide an engaging and user-friendly experience.
  • Create graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products.
  • Develop design concepts and implement designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content that will be presented online
  • Ensures products conform to all production standards, copyright laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances.
  • Conducts technical quality checks.
  • Manages an approved concept and build in HTML/CSS so it complies with responsive design principles.
  • Provides Cartography support, as needed, to design thematic and reference Maps.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Requires BA/BS and 3 years of experience or no degree and 9 years of
  • experience.
  • TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance required
  • Experience with the following:
  • Leading the development of graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products.
  • Front-end web design, UI/UX, HTML/CSS.
  • Photography and video editing.
  • Mentor and trains junior staff.
  • Creating graphics products that provide engaging and user-friendly experience.
  • Creating graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products.
  • Developing design concepts and implementing designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content presented online.
  • Ensuring products conform to all production standards, copy-write laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances.
  • Conducting technical quality checks.
