Job Title: Journeyman HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanics

Pay Range: $25 - $30

SCOPE OF WORK

• Measure, cut, bend, and assemble sheet metal components according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as shears, brakes, and rollers to fabricate metal parts
• Install, maintain, and repair ductwork, roofing, siding, and other metal structures in residential, commercial, or industrial settings
• Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and compliance with safety standards
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other tradespeople to ensure project specifications are met
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and layout plans to guide fabrication and installation
• Apply welding, soldering, or fastening techniques to join metal components when required
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition
• Follow safety protocols, including use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA regulations
• Assist in training apprentices or junior workers in sheet metal techniques and safety procedures

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 5 years of experience required
• Must complete ladder and fall protection safety (CCS will provide)
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Proficiency in operating sheet metal fabrication equipment and hand tools
• Reliable and able to work the required schedule including early start time
