Journeyman Machinist

At AeroFlow Technologies, we design and manufacture complex tubing and duct assemblies using high-performance materials engineered to perform under extreme pressure, temperature, and chemical environments. The Maintenance Machinist is responsible for the end-to-end maintenance, repair and creation of new equipment and systems, supporting our Kirkland manufacturing facility. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

What will you be doing as a Journeyman Maintenance Machinist

You will be a critical member of the Maintenance Team that keep Western Pneumatic Tube operating. Doing so includes:

• Maintenance of Equipment and Production Systems
• Troubleshooting of Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic systems
• Precision and Non-Precision Machining
• Forecasting parts needs
• Participating in a Yearly Maintenance Shutdown

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to:

• Display Excellent Troubleshooting skills
• Show the Ability to Proactively Maintain Machinery and Equipment
• Organize your Time and Work Efficiently
• Work Alone or as a Team
• Be Flexible to work some Overtime as needed
• Contribute Ideas and Solutions to challenges encountered
• Remain Positive in High Pressure situations
• Safely Operate Machine Tools to Fabricate Equipment Parts.
• Be fluent with Manual Machining Processes.
• Set Up Jobs for Efficient Manufacture of Parts and Tools to close tolerances and limits.
• Select/Set Tooling, Feeds and Speeds, and Efficient Order-Of-Operation Sequences
• Show Proficiency in using Gauges and Measuring Tools to meet Tolerance Needs
• Skillfully Perform Maintenance, Assembly, and Installations
• Skillfully Inspect Parts and Materials
• Inspect Machinery for Needed Repairs
• Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Area
• Show Initiative
• Comply with Applicable Safety Standards and Regulations
• Be Able to Triage the Work before you and Move the Company’s Interest Forward
• Performs other Related Duties as Assigned
