Journeyman Millwright

• Participates in the safety program, works to exceed all safety standards and requirements mandated by the mill and OSHA.  

• Maintain mechanical components and perform machine alignment. 

• Fabricate parts & equipment.  

• Performs preventative maintenance duties on facility equipment. 

How you will impact WestRock: 

• Communicate effectively across departments, excellent problem-solving skills.  

• Ability to respond to emergency machine breakdowns in a timely manner and completes assigned task correctly and within the allotted time.  

• Must have an outstanding safety record and engage in safety activities across the mill.  

• Troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain motors, drives, couplings, bearings, seals, etc.  

What you need to succeed: 

• Excellent attention to detail and high standards for quality and precision of work.  

• Must be able to work alone with minimum supervision in a team concept.  

• Willingness to work overtime when necessary.  

• Willingness to work shift work when necessary.   

• Able to perform at heights, in confined space, ability to lift 50 lbs. and carry up to 50 lbs.
