Journeyman Mission Analyst
In this role you will…
- Perform comprehensive Mission Assurance analysis to understand how critical missions depend on assets, systems, infrastructure, and external dependencies
- Analyze Defense Critical Infrastructure (DCI) and Task Critical Assets (TCAs) to identify vulnerabilities, single points of failure, and mission impacts
- Support ongoing identification, validation, periodic revalidation, and continuous improvement of mission-critical capabilities
- Coordinate with OSD, the Joint Staff, Combatant Commands, MAJCOMs, installations, and other DoD agencies as directed
- Manage, analyze, and contextualize Mission Assurance risk data to support understanding of impacts to mission execution
- Augment Government-led Mission Assurance assessment teams, including pre-site survey activities, on-site data collection, and post-assessment analysis
- Additional duties as assigned
Experience Requirements:
- 3–10 years in any career field, discipline, or industry
- Experience with DoD Mission Assurance processes (DoDI 3020.45) preferred
- Background in operations, intelligence, force protection, or risk management preferred
- Familiarity with TCA/DCA identification and Air Force operations preferred
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) in any field
Certification Requirements:
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Active/current Top Secret (TS) clearance on Day 1 of performance
- Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI and TS/SCI with Caveats
- U.S. Citizenship required
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work 100% on-site within a Government SCIF during core duty hours
- CONUS travel may be required (coordinated with the Government at least 10 calendar days prior)
- OCONUS travel may be required (e.g., EUCOM/PACOM AOR support; coordinated at least 20 calendar days prior, with Theater Business Clearances)
- Local travel within the National Capital Region may be required
- Trip and After-Action Reports are required following each trip
- May be required to move equipment/files weighing up to 50 pounds
- May require sedentary work at least 50% of the time
- Reports to a physical location which occasionally requires the ability to traverse between buildings
- Ability to manage stress with a high degree of maturity/professionalism
- Demonstrated critical thinking and leadership skills and the ability to work well with others
- Effective verbal and written communication skills

Multiple considerations are taken into account when determining the final salary/hour rate, including but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, education and certifications, relevant work experience, related skills and competencies, as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
