QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of: Standard practices, methods, materials, tools and equipment of the painting trade; Characteristics of paints, varnishes, stains, shellacs, lacquers, enamels and solvents; Methods of preparing metal, wood, glass, plaster, cement and other surfaces; Safety precautions.
Ability to: Blend, harmonize and contrast colors; Apply paints and other finishes by brush, roller or spray gun; Perfa-taping; Work on scaffoldings and swing stages; Maintain effective working relationships with others.
EMPLOYMENT: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Monday - Friday
LOCATION: District wide/based out of Buildings and Grounds.
SALARY: $26.62/hour (2026-2027 salary schedule)
Salary includes pension
