POSITION SUMMARY
Pro Plumbing is seeking a skilled, licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our growing team of
professionals. This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and
replacement of plumbing systems in both residential and commercial environments. The
ideal candidate brings a strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, and materials, and
has a proven track record of delivering quality work that aligns with building codes and
customer expectations.
In this role, you will work closely with project managers, contractors, and homeowners to
execute plumbing tasks with precision, efficiency, and professionalism. You’ll be expected to
troubleshoot problems on-site, offer technical solutions, and maintain accurate
documentation for each job. Whether it’s installing new piping in a custom home or
servicing aging infrastructure in a commercial building, your ability to deliver consistent,
high-quality results will contribute directly to Pro Plumbing’s strong reputation for
craftsmanship and reliability.

OBJECTIVES 
Accurately estimate time, materials, and labor for plumbing jobs.
Successfully install plumbing systems (pipes, fixtures, valves).
Diagnose and resolve leaks, clogs, and malfunctioning systems.
Upgrade pipe materials (PEX, copper), per client needs
Service and maintain water heaters (diagnose heating issues, sediment buildup).
Prevent root intrusion impacts on sewer lines.
Perform inspections and obtain compliance with building codes.
Provide clear quotes, explanations, and client updates.
Ensure job-site cleanliness, prevent disruptions.
Coordinate with contractors (HVAC, electrical), aligning schedules.
Complete accurate documentation: work orders, permits, time logs.
Maintain inventory and proper handling of plumbing parts and tools.

COMPETENCIES
Deep knowledge of residential/commercial systems.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Journeyman Plumbers license in Louisiana.
3–5 years of plumbing experience; examples across residential and commercial.
Demonstrated experience with HVAC cross-functional support is a plus.
Familiarity with construction environments like roofing, dirt work, electrical, or HVAC
services is advantageous

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Frequent lifting of 50 lbs or more.
Ability to kneel, bend, crawl, climb, and work in tight spaces.
Comfortable working in varied environments: crawlspaces, rooftops, trenches.
Occasionally exposed to weather, noise, and dust.
Uphold high safety protocols and use of PPE consistently.
