The Journeyman Plumber plays a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning of plumbing and drain systems for residential and commercial properties. This position involves performing diagnostic evaluations, proposing solutions, and completing installations and repairs to ensure customer satisfaction. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to achieve business objectives
At Idaho's Plumber, we're here to fix leaks and clogs with a smile. More important for you, that means joining a team built around honesty, integrity, transparency, promptness, safety, and world-class customer service.
As a Journeyman Plumber, you'll be part of a Veteran-owned and operated business that wants to add value to the community and create real opportunities for its staff. If you want your work to matter and your standards to be shared, you'll feel that here.
Your day starts in the field, solving plumbing and drain problems for residential and commercial customers. You'll diagnose the issue, explain what's going on, and get to work on a real fix.
You'll handle installations and repairs, follow safety standards and code, and keep customers updated as the job moves. This isn't just wrench-turning. You're the person bringing clarity when something's gone wrong.
You'll also work closely with the team, support quality control, document the work, and help keep standards high. When you do this well, customers trust the work, the team trusts you, and your name means something.
We have a rigorous process for hiring, but move FAST for the right person. You could be hired in as little as 10 days! We've had lots of interest, so the first few steps are automated to make sure you can get considered quickly.
Don't worry—if you take the time to apply, we will respond to 100% of the applicants.
The process:
You'll earn $28-$35 per hour, based on experience and performance. There are also performance-based bonus opportunities. You'll have a company vehicle, necessary tools, and 100% covered health, dental, and vision insurance, so more of what you earn stays with you.
This is for plumbers who care about doing the job right. If honesty, transparency, promptness, and safety actually matter to you, you'll fit in. If you cut corners, dodge communication, or treat customers like interruptions, you won't.
You'll get ongoing training and development, weekly team support, mentorship, and real opportunities for career advancement. You'll also have the vehicle and tools you need to work like a pro, not patch things together on your own.
The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with rotating Saturday shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It's hands-on work in the real world, with real standards and a team that wants permanent solutions, not temporary fixes.
You'll do well here if you're steady under pressure, strong with customers, and take real pride in clean, safe, reliable work.
If you're ready to be trusted, supported, and paid for the value you bring, apply now. The right plumber won't stay available for long.
