TalentLogistiX is currently hiring a skilled and dependable Commercial Plumber to support large-scale commercial construction and renovation projects. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing complex plumbing systems in commercial environments while ensuring full compliance with applicable codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
The ideal candidate brings a strong work ethic, technical expertise, and the ability to work both independently and within a team-driven jobsite.
Location: Lafayette, IN
Pay Range: $30.00 - $33.00 / Hour – Depending on Experience
Commercial Plumber Responsibilities:
- Install, assemble, and maintain commercial plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, gas, and vent systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and mechanical drawings to determine layout and installation requirements
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure proper functionality and code compliance
- Install fixtures such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, and specialized commercial equipment
- Collaborate with general contractors, project managers, and other trades to ensure efficient workflow and project completion
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal plumbing codes and regulations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA standards
- Accurately document work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered on-site
- Mentor and provide guidance to apprentice plumbers as needed
Commercial Plumber Qualifications
- Minimum of 3– 5+ years of commercial plumbing experience
- Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, tools, and installation practices Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings with accuracy
- Familiarity with plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools associated with the trade
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in various environments (indoor/outdoor, heights, confined spaces)
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites as needed
