Job Description

The position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing, steam, gas, and medical facility systems, including water distribution, drainage, sterilizers, laundry and dietetic equipment, steam systems, and medical gases.
The employee must be a journeyman pipefitter with at least four (4) years of experience, capable of reading blueprints and following standard plumbing codes and safety practices. Work is assigned by a foreman but performed independently with occasional spot checks, and the employee may supervise helpers when needed.
The job requires frequent physical exertion, including standing, bending, and working in cramped areas, with exposure to cuts, bruises, odors, and infectious risks.
Duties are performed both indoors and outdoors, including in basements, kitchens, and manholes.

Qualifications
