Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Plumber to join our small family owned plumbing company. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in plumbing, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards. 90% of work will be Residential service work with NO HIGH PRESSURE SALES.
Job Duties
Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in residential and commercial buildings.
Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
Perform field service tasks, addressing plumbing issues as they arise on-site.
Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential problems or necessary repairs.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with local plumbing codes and regulations.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Engage in heavy lifting as required for the installation of plumbing systems.

Qualifications
Proven experience as a plumber with a strong mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems with minimum of 4 years experience.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade.
Experience in construction plumbing.
A valid NYS driving license is required.
Ability to lift job materials 50 lbs
