Qualifications Education Certification Licensure High school diploma or GED Valid Texas drivers license and good driving record Licensed as a Journeyman Plumber thorough Texas State Board of Plumbing

Major Responsibilities and Duties Assist in maintaining the safe condition of pipes, drains, and plumbing fixtures in the facilities owned and operated by the district.
• Recognize and report when outside assistance is needed • Perform repair and/or new work as required • Recommend supplies and equipment for purchase • Examine district-owned facilities on a regular basis for purposes of preventive maintenance • Schedule, participate, and maintain records of gas testing at district campuses as required • Maintain water heaters and domestic boilers in a state of operational readiness • Participate in department after-hours emergency response protocol
