Build reliable process systems—from plan to final support—across metals and thermoplastics.
Role highlights
Interpret: Read and apply isometric, arrangement, and sketch drawings to plan layouts and installs.
Fabricate: Cut, bevel, clean, fit, thread, and prepare weld joints; assemble valves, fittings, and specialties.
Install: Set pipe runs, place supports, and secure with brackets, clamps, and hangers.
Mobilize: Lay out, rig, and safely move pipe, valves, and equipment to and from work areas.
Survey: Inspect workspaces for obstructions; adjust sequencing to maintain quality and safety.
Operate: Utilize grinders, band saws, beveling torches, threading machines, and related tools.
Support: Assist with lifting, positioning, and securing components during installation.
Uphold: Maintain tools and equipment for dependable daily operations.
Systems and materials
Experience spans carbon steel, stainless steel, PVC, CPVC, HDPE, and copper piping; integration of valves, fittings, and related specialties.
Competencies
Strict safety mindset with consistent PPE usage and job-site awareness.
Clear communication with crew leads, peers, and customers.
Adaptability for travel and schedule flexibility to meet project timelines.
Job Requirements:
Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations. Including but not limited to wearing safety equipment such as safety glasses, face masks, gloves, work boots, harnesses and/or other required PPE relevant to job site.
Willingness to travel as required.
Possess valid identification to work in the United States.
Ability to pass a drug screening and criminal background check.
Knowledge on operating equipment including pipe threader, burning torch, grinder, porta-band machine, chain falls, hands tools, fork trucks, high reach equipment, etc.
Able to effectively communicate with coworkers, supervisors, and clients.
Willingness to work overtime when required
Physical capabilities
Lift/carry 50 lbs; repetitive motion tasks; fine motor control.
Climb ladders and access structural steel safely.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
3–7 years of trade experience in pipefitting.
