GovCIO is seeking a Mid-Level Geospatial Engineer to support a critical government computer system for the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Data & AI Integration Team. This role supports senior geospatial staff and the Government Product Owner Lead by assisting with the development, maintenance, and evaluation of enterprise geospatial systems and data. The incumbent performs technical tasks related to geospatial data management, system integration, platform operations, and geospatial standards implementation. Work is performed under the guidance of senior engineers and in coordination with contractors and cross‑functional teams. This position will be located in Kearneysville, WV, and will be a hybrid position.
Responsibilities:As a Mid-Level Geospatial Engineer, you will serve as a core technical resource for deploying centralized, secure, and reusable geospatial data services. You will support infrastructure optimization, cross-functional platform migrations, and governance frameworks. Key responsibilities include:
High School with 6 - 9 years (or commensurate experience)
