    Job Description

Be the go-to wireman on marquee builds across New Castle County

Picture this: it’s 7:00 a.m. on a high-profile commercial site in New Castle County. You review a set of crisp blueprints, route a clean run of conduit, verify control circuits with your meter, and sign off another safe, code‑compliant installation before lunch. If that sounds like your kind of day, our client wants to meet you.

They’re hiring a full-time, project-based Journeyman who is licensed in the State of Delaware to help deliver complex commercial and industrial electrical installations with steady hours and a dependable pipeline of work.

    How you’ll make an impact

    • Install, repair, and troubleshoot wiring, electrical fixtures, power equipment, and machinery components in strict alignment with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
    • Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals to execute precise installations.
    • Install and connect power supply wiring, cables, conduit, and electrical apparatus for equipment in new builds and existing facilities.
    • Install, repair, and calibrate control and distribution equipment such as motors, relays, switches, thermostats, and circuit‑breaker panels.
    • Test electrical circuits and systems for continuity, compatibility, and safety using appropriate meters and testing equipment.
    • Measure, cut, bend, thread, and install electrical conduit using rulers, measuring devices, hand tools, pipe threaders, and conduit benders.
    • Maintain safe working conditions and ensure the safe operation of all electrical installations on the project site.
    • Keep accurate daily records of materials used and labor hours.

    What you bring

    • Valid State of Delaware Journeyman Electrician License (mandatory for consideration).
    • Proven background in commercial or industrial electrical installation, repair, and maintenance.
    • Fluency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
    • Strong working knowledge of the NEC and applicable safety standards.
    • Proficiency with standard hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing instruments.
    • Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work the specified shift hours for the project’s duration.
    • Solid troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

    Where you’ll work

Projects are in and around New Castle County, supporting commercial and industrial clients on notable, high-visibility builds.

    Why this role

Steady hours, challenging project work, and the chance to leave your mark on large-scale installations—while working with a team that values safety, craftsmanship, and professionalism.
