The Job Placement Program is a temporary work placement program which allows our most talented frontline Team Members to gain professional work experience and networking opportunities by completing temporary work assignments in our theme park offices. The goal is to prepare frontline Team Members to transition into full-time careers!

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

  • Installing cameras, network components, recording devices, and other surveillance hardware at designated locations.
  • Performing routine checks on surveillance systems, including camera functionality, recording quality, and network connectivity.
  • Identifying and resolving technical issues with surveillance systems, including camera malfunctions, network disruptions, and recording errors.
  • Installing software updates, firmware upgrades, and new features on surveillance systems as needed.
  • Managing network infrastructure related to surveillance systems, including IP addresses, network protocols, and access control.
  • Maintaining detailed records of system configurations, maintenance activities, and incident reports. Must be able to provide progress reports on LP platform.
  • Providing technical support to clients regarding surveillance systems, including training on system operation.

SEEKING INDIVIDUALS WITH

  • Interest in and/or basic understanding of surveillance cameras and security monitoring systems.
  • Mechanically inclined and/or is computer “savvy” (gamers we are looking at you).
  • Willingness to learn new technologies, processes, and surveillance system operations.
  • Ability to critically think and enjoys problem solving.
  • Able to follow established procedures and maintain accurate records & reports.
  • Comfortable working in multiple environments, including climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and lifting equipment when necessary.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly share observations, incidents, and system concerns with stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to remain observant while monitoring camera systems and security-related activities.

Eligibility

  • Attendance - TM must have 8 or below attendance points AND no more than a Written Warning 2 in the last 6 months
  • Variance - TM must have 7 or below variance points AND no more than a Final Written Warning in the last 6 months
  • Behavioral - No more than a Final Written Warning level discipline in the last 6 months
  • Probationary Status - TM must have passed or be within 75% Through probation during application/ selection and must have passed probation as of start date of role
  • Must be current USH Team Member
  • Availability - Must have full open availability
