About the job

The Assembler makes precision electro-mechanical products and mechanical subassemblies while

maintaining quality, accuracy, and production standards.

We're looking for someone who

● Has a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent education and experience

● Has 6–12 months of related experience or training (preferred)

● Can read and interpret basic engineering drawings, specifications, bills of material, and

operating procedures

● Has experience using common hand tools and power-assisted assembly tools (preferred)

● Can accurately assemble small components, wires, switches, levers, and other mechanical

or electrical parts

● Demonstrates strong attention to detail and takes responsibility for product quality and

quantity

● Can visually inspect finished and in-process products against established standards

● Is comfortable operating production assembly equipment (preferred)

What you'll do

● Assemble precision electro-mechanical products and mechanical subassemblies according

to written instructions

● Use hand tools and power-assisted assembly tools to complete production tasks

● Operate automatic and semiautomatic assembly equipment as needed

● Stage production parts and manually install key tops, switches, levers, wires, and other

components

● Monitor the quantity and quality of parts throughout the assembly process

● Operate production assembly machines and equipment

● Visually inspect parts and finished products to ensure they meet established standards

● Return flawed products to Production for reworking

● Pack completed products for shipment or the next stage of production

● Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment

● Read and follow engineering drawings, specifications, bills of material, and operating

procedures
