Jr. Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

Peraton supports the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) mission to deliver timely, reliable care and benefits to America's Veterans by engineering, operating, and modernizing a nationwide data center portfolio. Our team runs enterprise and regional data centers, telecommunications spaces, and secure network connections that host the systems Veterans depend on — from claims processing and pharmacy fulfillment to appointment scheduling and benefits delivery. We provide full-lifecycle data center and cloud engineering, 24×7×365 operations and monitoring, DCIM platform administration, analytics, and facility infrastructure reporting. Position Duties & Responsibilities 

• Coordinate assigned projects and tasks — schedules, resources, actions, risks, deliverables, status reporting, and stakeholder communications. 
• Maintain program artifacts in SharePoint; support recurring status decks and deliverable QC. 
• Track action items and open risks; drive updates and closures. 
• Provide analytical support (data pulls, reports, dashboards) for program and technical leads.

Qualifications:

Requirements 

• Currently possess or be able to obtain VA Public Trust — High Risk (BI High) / Tier 4 background investigation. 
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, IT, Analytics, or a related field; 1+ years of analyst or coordinator experience. 
• Education substitutions (per Peraton Career & Compensation Framework): In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, 4 additional years of relevant experience is acceptable (Associate's degree + 2 additional years also accepted for equivalent professional levels). 

Desired Skills, Tools & Certifications 

• Tools: MS Project, SharePoint, Power BI, Excel, ServiceNow, JIRA / Confluence, and Visio. 
• Processes: ITIL v4 service management, SAFe Agile / Scrum for iterative delivery, NIST 800-53 / RMF, ISO 27001, TIA-942, ASHRAE TC 9.9, VA CRISP alignment, NFPA 70/70E, and OSHA safety practices. 
• Certifications (desirable): PMI-PBA, IIBA CBAP/CCBA, ITIL v4 Foundation, SAFe Practitioner.

Target Salary Range: $51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
