Job Summary
Responsible for analyzing, interpreting and configuring the software systems according to Policy, Procedures and Regulations. Participates in the evaluation, configuration and maintenance of new or existing systems. May serve as an inter-departmental liaison or subject matter expert to ensure effective and efficient utilization, configuration or maintenance of systems. Assists Configuration Analysts with the coordination of the activities within the Configuration Team.

Work Experience
Two years of experience working in healthcare setting with experience in understanding and interpreting State and Federal regulation highly preferred. Understanding of government programs such as Medicare and Medicaid highly preferred. Familiarity with medical claims, medical billing and/or coding highly preferred. Configuration of supporting software systems with special emphasis in Medicaid or Medicare is a plus.

Education and Training
Associate degree in Computer Information Systems or related field required.
