Position Description:

We''re looking for a Social Media Copywriter who understands that great social creative doesn''t feel like advertising it feels like something you''d actually stop for, send to a friend, or comment on. This is a junior level, specialized social first role, not a traditional copywriting role adapted for social.

This role is located at a client site in Atlanta, GA. A hybrid working model is acceptable.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $51,600.00 $110,100.00.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Generate original, platform native social ideas, content series, campaigns, and culturally relevant responses rooted in audience behavior, channel strategy, and business objectives.
• Write concise, compelling copy across social formats, including captions, hooks, scripts, on screen text, headlines, comments, and calls to action.
• Adapt voice, pacing, structure, and creative conventions by platform so the work feels made for the feed rather than repurposed from another channel.
• Monitor conversations, trends, fandom, and cultural moments, quickly translating relevant opportunities into brand right creative ideas and copy.
• Collaborate with creative partners and channel owners from brief through delivery, shaping the verbal and visual expression of ideas while incorporating feedback, performance learnings, legal guidance, and brand standards.

• 3+ years of copywriting experience within an in house agency, advertising agency, brand creative team, social studio, or similarly fast paced environment.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong social first thinking and writing across short form video, captions, platform native concepts, and culturally relevant content.
• Deep working knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging social platforms, including the distinct behaviors, formats, language, and creative conventions of each.
• Demonstrated ability to write concise hooks, scripts, headlines, captions, on screen copy, and calls to action in a clear, ownable brand voice.
• Ability to turn strategy, audience insight, and business objectives into compelling creative ideas, work quickly across multiple assignments, and use sound cultural judgment in an iterative, high volume environment.

Minimum Education Required: Bachelors Degree
