Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Junior Escrow Assistant to support our escrow team in managing residential and commercial real estate transactions. This entry-level position plays a critical role in ensuring escrow files are processed accurately and efficiently from opening through closing, while delivering exceptional service to clients, agents, lenders, and other stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with strong administrative skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a desire to build a career in the title and escrow industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Escrow Officers with opening, maintaining, and closing escrow transactions.
- Prepare and process escrow documents, forms, and correspondence.
- Order and track payoff statements, HOA documents, insurance information, and other transaction-related items.
- Review files for completeness and accuracy, ensuring all required documentation is received.
- Communicate with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, lenders, title companies, and other parties involved in transactions.
- Schedule closings and coordinate signing appointments.
- Maintain accurate electronic and physical escrow records.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of closing packages.
- Respond to client inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Perform data entry and update transaction information in escrow management systems.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, state regulations, and industry standards.
- Provide general administrative support to the escrow department as needed.
