    Part-Time Junior High Art Teacher Holy Cross Junior High Position Type: Part-Time Reports To: Principal Grade Levels: 6-8 Position Summary Holy Cross Junior High seeks a faith-filled, creative, and student-centered Part-Time Art Teacher to inspire students in grades 6-8 through visual arts education. The Art Teacher will foster artistic growth, creativity, and appreciation for beauty while supporting the mission and values of Catholic education. The successful candidate will create engaging lessons that encourage self-expression, develop artistic skills, and help students recognize the connection between faith, culture, and the arts. Essential Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging art instruction aligned with school curriculum and grade-level expectations. Teach a variety of artistic techniques and media, including drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, and other visual arts forms. Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and artistic expression in a supportive classroom environment. Integrate Catholic values and teachings, when appropriate, into art lessons and projects. Promote respect, responsibility, and positive behavior consistent with the mission of Holy Cross Junior High. Assess student progress and provide timely feedback on assignments and projects. Maintain an organized, safe, and inspiring art classroom. Prepare and display student artwork throughout the school and at special events. Manage art supplies, materials, and equipment responsibly. Communicate effectively with parents, faculty, and administration regarding student progress and classroom activities. Participate in faculty meetings, school events, and professional development as requested. Qualifications Bachelor''s degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field preferred. Teaching experience with middle school students preferred. Knowledge of various artistic techniques, materials, and instructional strategies. Commitment to supporting the mission and value
