Position Details
Job Description: You will be responsible for the day to day operations in all aspects of running and coaching a junior high level football program. This will include, but not limited to:
On a day-to-day basis, you will be expected to maintain proper decorum both in and outside school functions be at football events at least 15 minutes prior to the expected arrival of any student-athletes.. Instruct all student-athletes in accordance with the practice plan for that particular day. As the Head Coach be certain that all student athletes have left the premises and all equipment has been taken care of and secured before you leave. Also be certain that all interior lights have been shut off, all doors are closed and secured before leaving for the day. On game days accompany student athletes to and from all events, as well as instructing student athletes in maintaining proper decorum both in and outside school functions.
Requirements and Qualifications: You will be a positive, outgoing individual that works well with student athletes as well as other coaches. As noted above, you will have completed all necessary materials as required by the MHSAA and Kingston Community Schools.
Previous coaching experience is recommended but not required. You will be required to complete a background check as required for any hire at Kingston Community Schools.
