Description
Responsibilities
Install hand railings and other architectural metal products on commercial job sites.
Assist with loading, unloading, and staging materials and equipment.
Perform field measurements and verify dimensions as directed.
Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and hand tools in accordance with company safety policies.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
Assist Lead Installers with layout, assembly, and installation activities.
Communicate professionally with customers, general contractors, and fellow team members.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills
Ability to safely install railings and other architectural metal products in accordance with Grecos safety and quality standards.
Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
Ability to read and interpret basic shop drawings and installation prints.
Proficient in the safe use of hand and power tools.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing priorities effectively.
Ability to travel extensively and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Experience
1-2 years of experience in commercial construction or a related trade preferred.
Experience installing railings, miscellaneous metals, or similar architectural products is preferred.
Experience using hand and power tools, taking measurements, and reading installation drawings.
Welding experience is beneficial
Education
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Other
This role utilizes a company vehicle to travel to job sites, so the person in this role must have a current Florida driver's license and a clean driving record.
This role must be able to travel Monday through Friday, and some Saturdays. Hotel accommodations are paid for and Installers receive a per diem for each travel day.
