We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Java Engineer to join our development team. As a junior developer, you will work closely with senior engineers to design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java technologies. Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development and maintenance of Java-based applications
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
Participate in code reviews and team discussions
Debug and troubleshoot application issues
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, Product, DevOps)
Support integration of APIs and third-party services
Learn and apply best practices in software development
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Basic knowledge of Java programming
Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
Familiarity with frameworks like Spring / Spring Boot (preferred)
Knowledge of REST APIs and web services
Basic understanding of databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar)
Exposure to version control systems like Git
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Internship or academic project experience in Java development
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies
Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
