Basic Requirements:
- 2 years of experience as a software engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
- 2 additional years of experience as a software engineer may be substituted for a degree
Job Description:
- The Software Engineer shall be responsible for collaborating with Product Owners, System Engineers, and Project Software Engineers to design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and sustain a mission-focused enterprise web application deployed in a containerized Kubernetes Linux environment.
Required Experience:
- Experience using the Linux CLI
- Experience developing Bash/Python scripts
- Experience developing with Python in a Linux environment
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
- Experience with SQL technologies such as MySQL
- Experience with designing and implementing REST interfaces
- Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI
- Experience with Git Source Control System
Desired Experience:
- Experience with the Atlassian Suite of Tools including Jira and Confluence
- Experience with the Django Web framework
- Experience with the Celery Task Scheduler
- Familiar with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
- Familiar with creating Helm Charts to deploy containerized services on Kubernetes
Salary: $160,000 - $170,000 annually
