Jr. Machine Operator

We are immediately seeking two (2) reliable Junior Machine Operators to join our production team. This is an entry-level position ideal for dependable individuals who are detail-oriented and able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

As a Junior Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating injection molding machines, performing quality inspections, and packaging finished parts. You will play a key role in ensuring our production runs efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.

Location: Rochester, NY
Salary: $17.00 - $17.00 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift – 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Monday – Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and run injection molding machines
• Visually inspect and perform quality checks on parts as they come off the machine
• Box, label, and package finished parts accurately
• Maintain accurate part counts and production efficiency
• Log and record daily production amounts
• Read and sign off on work instructions before every shift
• Wear required PPE including safety glasses at all times
• Make independent decisions regarding part quality
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Basic math skills (required)
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. repeatedly
• Ability to stand or sit for 8–10 hours per shift
• Dependable with reliable attendance
• Works well with others in a diverse environment
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
• Strong attention to detail and quality focus
• Ability to work independently while making sound decisions
• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience is a plus, but not required — we are willing to train the right candidates
