Jr Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking an early-career Manufacturing Engineer to support process development, technology transfer, and manufacturing initiatives at an onsite facility in New Albany, Ohio.

This position will help evaluate manufacturing processes, equipment, process flows, materials, costs, and control requirements while coordinating projects from prototype through manufacturing. The Manufacturing Engineer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams supporting product development and contract manufacturing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support development and transfer of new manufacturing processes and technologies.
• Identify and evaluate manufacturing processes, process flows, equipment, and instrumentation.
• Assess process control points, control systems, material compatibility, and potential contamination risks.
• Coordinate projects and activities from prototype development through manufacturing implementation.
• Partner with cross-functional teams supporting product development and manufacturing initiatives.
• Assist with evaluating and identifying potential contract manufacturing partners.
• Support manufacturing cost evaluations and related project analysis.
• Prepare project documentation, reports, presentations, and analyses using Microsoft Office tools.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 0–5 years of experience in manufacturing, technical services, engineering, product development, or a related function.
• Strong engineering or scientific foundation.
• Ability to evaluate technical processes and manufacturing requirements.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to work onsite in New Albany, Ohio.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree specifically in an engineering discipline.
• Experience with manufacturing cost evaluation or cost analysis.
• Experience working with contract manufacturers.
• Personal care, cosmetics, consumer products, chemical, or related manufacturing experience.
• Project management or project coordination experience.
