Responsibilities:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Jr. Risk and Insurance Analyst will provide operational assistance to our Risk Management department with claims and litigation intake, investigation, administrative organization and data management.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Monitoring emails and internal systems for new and incoming incidents, claims and litigation.
• Analyzing the severity of incoming claims and litigation matters to prioritize and facilitate timely processing.
• Maintaining claims, incident, investigation and litigation records.
• Coordinating and processing driver approval requests and credentialing documentation with hiring managers, fleet management and risk management.
• Managing correspondence, invoices, and departmental documentation.
• Supporting insurance compliance tracking and reporting.
• Maintaining compliance records, filing systems, and document repositories.
• Monitoring pending approvals and maintaining qualification records.
• Assisting with subcontractor and vendor insurance verification.
• Coordinating with hiring managers, risk procurement and fleet management.
• Supporting MVR review administration and compliance tracking.
• Supporting data management, reporting, and special projects

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance or related field preferred.
1-3 years’ experience in an administrative capacity.
Experience in insurance and/or risk management capacity is preferred.
Must be proficient in MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ideal candidate is detail oriented and able to demonstrate high degree of accuracy.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and willingness to perform in a team environment.

 

Reports to: Assistant Risk Manager

Work Location: Farmingdale, NY

Compensation:  $27 - $31/hr.
