Jr Roofing Sales Representative

CentiMark Corporation is hiring a Junior Commercial Roofing Sales Representative in the greater Pasco area. This is a mid-level field sales professional responsible for generating leads, evaluating commercial properties, and securing roof replacement, maintenance, or repair contracts from business owners and property managers. The role bridges standard customer service and technical B2B construction sales, working under the guidance of senior sales representatives.

Job Summary

The Junior Commercial Roofing Sales Rep focuses heavily on the front end of the sales pipeline. They identify potential business clients, conduct physical roof inspections, and guide property decision-makers through the estimation and closing process. This position requires a mix of fieldwork, cold outreach, and customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Generation: Identify business prospects using cold calling, regional canvassing, property databases, and professional networking
• Site Inspections: Safely climb and walk commercial roofs (flat roof, metal, TPO) to document damage, take measurements, and capture photos
• Proposal Collaboration: Partner with internal Estimators to scope project costs, and build custom sales presentations
• Client Education: Explain complex roofing systems, material options, and project execution details
• Pipeline Management: Track all outreach, follow-ups, and active proposal lifecycle metrics daily using Salesforce
• Relationship Building: Maintain strong communication with clients to encourage repeat maintenance contracts and word-of-mouth referrals

Candidate Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelors degree in business, marketing, or construction management is a plus
• Experience: 2+ years of B2B sales, customer service, or construction-industry experience
• Physical Ability: Must be physically fit, entirely comfortable with heights, and capable of setting up and climbing heavy industrial ladders
• Transportation: A valid driver's license and a reliable personal truck or SUV capable of hauling equipment (ladders, tools) are mandatory
• Soft Skills: A highly coachable mindset, exceptional active listening, resilience against sales rejection

Expected Salary & Benefits

• Compensation: Total average earnings generally range from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, usually structured as a modest base salary paired with commission splits
