    Job Description

    We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Junior Transportation Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license to join our team. As a Junior Transportation Engineer, you will assist in the planning, design, and implementation of transportation projects. You will work closely with senior engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client needs and regulatory requirements.

    Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
    Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
    Strong proficiency in engineering principles and transportation engineering concepts
    Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues and clients
    Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
    Familiarity with relevant transportation codes, standards, and regulations
    Experience working with the DOT as a client

    Experience working with the FDOT as a client
    Experience with transportation modeling software (e.g., VISSIM, Synchro)
    Familiarity with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS) for spatial analysis
    Knowledge of sustainable transportation practices
    Experience with traffic impact studies and analysis

    Assist in the planning, design, and analysis of transportation projects
    Conduct field investigations and collect data for transportation studies
    Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and technical reports
    Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations
    Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders as needed
    Support senior engineers and project managers in project execution and delivery
    Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in transportation engineering
    Adhere to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards
