Responsibilities:
- The Manufacturing Technician is integral to the production process, responsible for operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment to uphold the highest quality standards.
- This role involves monitoring production activities, troubleshooting issues, and supporting process improvements. With a focus on detail and safety, the Manufacturing Technician helps maintain the smooth and efficient functioning of the manufacturing operations.
- Devises, fabricates, installs, tests, and repairs mechanical equipment and systems involving the movement of physical components in the manufacturing area.
- Assisting engineers with developing technical solutions related to the operation and performance of devices and systems.
- Installs, repairs, and upgrades components of mechanical devices and systems in the manufacturing area.
- Devises, fabricates, and assembles new or modified mechanical components for machinery and equipment.
- Conducts quality assurance/control tests and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree / Vocational or technical education preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Previous experience in Medical Devices manufacturing.
- Experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of automated systems, pneumatics, and electro-pneumatics.
- Knowledge of instrumentation, lasers, vision systems, and motors.
- Experience with preventive maintenance.
- Basic computer repair and troubleshooting skills.
